Based in Tasmania, Peter Tatham & Associates provide bespoke career development services to individuals and organisations.

Principal consultant Peter Tatham is an internationally recognised career development expert, a former Executive Director and President of the Career Industry Council of Australia, former Vice President and current Fellow of the Career Development Association of Australia and previous Head of the University of Tasmania Careers and Employment Service and career development consultant to the Government of Fiji.

Recent work includes the development of a future vision for career development for the Tasmanian Government; development of a career manual for an internal career transition program for Sydney Trains; delivering outplacement services for Randstad, Talent2, Macfarlan Lane and Trevor Roberts; presentation of a series of workshops for University of Tasmania PhD students and early career academics; facilitated a review of career services for the Australian Institute of Sport; provide career development services for high performance coaches at the Tasmanian Institute of Sport; invited career expert for Cricket Australia; and a facilitator of strategic planning days for organisations.

Over the past 30 years Peter has provided individual career coaching for more than 5000 clients from education, government, community and the private sector. He has written and presented over 300 workshops, webinars and online programs. And he continues to develop new approaches to career development to meet emerging challenges of changing labour market.

In addition, Peter led the development and implementation of national standards for Australian career development professionals and facilitated the development of guiding principles for effective career services and career information provision.

He has given key note speeches and presentations on the future of career development throughout Australia, Korea, New Zealand, UK and Canada.
